A hands-on, boots-on-the-ground experience where guests learn what it truly means to live and work like a cowboy. This interactive program is designed for all experience levels and blends horsemanship education with exciting Western disciplines for a fun, safe, and unforgettable adventure.

Camp participants begin with an introduction to horse care and handling, learning essential daily routines including grooming, saddling, feeding basics, and understanding horse behavior. Our skilled instructors guide campers through the fundamentals of safe horse communication, building confidence and connection with their horse before riding begins.

In the saddle, riders receive professional instruction in:

• Western riding posture and control
• Steering, stopping, and riding patterns
• Trail riding techniques
• Arena riding basics

Barrel Racing

Experience the thrill of navigating a classic cloverleaf pattern around barrels, learning speed control, agility, and precision riding as you race against the clock — just like real rodeo competitors.

Cow Sorting

Work with fellow campers to practice team-based cattle sorting. Learn how cowboys herd and separate cattle using strategic movement, communication, and horse positioning — a skill that builds coordination, leadership, and teamwork.

Roping

Campers are introduced to the fundamentals of Western roping, starting with safe rope handling techniques and progressing to target practice designed to develop timing, accuracy, and hand-eye coordination.
